The archive of Бородянського of district executive committee is created in 1929.

1960 to a district archive was inferior to Ministry of internal affairs.

From 1960 of Бородянський a district archive is inferior to the district executive committee and archived department Kyiv to the area.

From 1963 to 1966 the arcival is inferior to the executive committee of Макарівського of district of the Kyiv area.

From 1989 a district archive is inferior to the Record office of the Kyiv area.

With the aim of improvement of development of the archived business in a district and providing of safety and account, exposure and organization of the use of documents the decision № of 74 executive committees of Бородянської of district Soviet of deputies of people's from 17.03.1983 is ratify Statute about state Бородянський district archive.

In accordance with Decree of President Л. Д. Kuchma from July, 20, 1995 № 633/95 district state administrations, it is envisaged that to confirm position about a management, departments and other services of state administrations, appear.

Іваненко Ivan Lukjyan worked as manager of archive Бородянського to the district from 1943-1963, 1966-1983.

1967-1968, 1983-2000 Valentine Францович worked as manager of archive Василенко, in 1944 н., Ірпінський made off industrial технікум.

From 2008 to 01.03.2011 in position of chief of the archived department Самусь worked Volodymyr Ivanovich, in 1956 н., made off the Kyiv institute of agriculture.
